We have drawn up a rough plan of our intended route. This is not set in stone and will no doubt vary along the way due to weather, health and people we meet. We plan to enjoy our journey rather than rush to be at places for certain dates. If we find places we like along the way we will stay for a while and take the time to get to know the area and the people, and hopefully participate in kayaking and hiking along the route.

We plan to spend the Christmas period 2008 with friends who live in Coyaique whom we have not seen in a few years. We will also spend time in Futaleufu living and helping some farmers whom Dave met whilst working on Raleigh International. Kelly is looking forward to experiencing Futaleufu in the summer period as the last time she was there it was in the depths of winter, a rather ‘chilly’ experience. In Bariloche we will rest our wearing legs and enjoy spending time exploring the Lake District of Argentina and hopefully meet up with some of Dave’s family. In the meantime we are badgering people to join us en-route for a few weeks!
